Protein Power Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 3 eggs or 3 egg whites
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 4 cups quick oats
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup chocolate chips or 1 cup m&m's plain chocolate candy (optional)
- 3/4 cup raisins (optional)
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or 3/4 cup pecans (optional)
Recipe
- 1 cream together; brown sugar, applesauce, peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla.
- 2 blend in flour and baking soda.
- 3 blend in oats.
- 4 add your choice of optional ingredients; nuts, chocolate, raisins, or all of the above.
- 5 mix well.
- 6 drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- 7 bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or til lightly browned.
- 8 let cool 2 or 3 minutes before removing from pan.
