Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar (use splenda brown sugar)
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 3 whole eggs or 3 egg whites
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 4 cups quick oats
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional) or 1 cup m&ms plain chocolate candy (optional)
- 3/4 cup raisins (optional)
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional) or 3/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Recipe
- 1 cream together; brown sugar, applesauce, peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla.
- 2 blend in flour and baking soda. blend in oats.
- 3 add your choice of optional ingredients; nuts, chocolate, raisins, or all of the above. mix well.
- 4 drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or til lightly browned.
- 5 let cool 2 or 3 minutes before removing from pan.
