Individual Grape Upside Down Cakes

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup apple jelly
- 1 cup green seedless grape, halved
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 large egg, slightly beaten
- confectioners' sugar, for dusting
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees f.
- 2 grease 12 cup muffin tin, then spoon 2 teaspoons apple jelly into each, and divide grape halves into each cup.
- 3 in a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- 4 in a separate bowl, whisk together milk, butter, and egg.
- 5 stir milk mixture into flour mixture just until moistened.
- 6 divide dough into muffin cups and bake until golden, about 15 to 20 minutes (wooden toothpick should come out clean).
- 7 leave cakes in muffin tin about 2 minutes, then remove to cool on cooling rack.
- 8 dust with confectioners' sugar just before serving.
