Fettuccine Alla Bergamasca

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 12 ounces fettuccine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3 garlic cloves, pressed
  • salt and black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 ounces parmesan cheese, cheees
  • 1/3 cup basil leaves, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 cook pasta as directed on the package.
  • 2 while pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce: heat the oil in a frying pan with the walnuts and garlic.
  • 3 saute them for 2-3 minutes: season to taste.
  • 4 pour in milk, sour cream and parmesan cheese.
  • 5 stir constantly until sauce thickens (about 2-3 minutes).
  • 6 add basil, coarsley chopped.
