Crunch

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 40 saltine crackers, crushed
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • pecans or almonds or walnuts, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 mix cracker crumbs, melted butter, and brown sugar.
  • 2 spread on foil-lined 15x10" jelly roll pan.
  • 3 bake at 400 degrees for 7 minutes. will appear unbaked.
  • 4 sprinkle chocolate chips over cracker mixture.
  • 5 return to oven for a few minutes. when melted, spread over cracker mixture.
  • 6 sprinkle with chopped nuts. press lightly into chocolate.
  • 7 set up in refrigerator. break into pieces.
  • 8 store leftovers in refrigerator.
