Raisin Bran Chewy Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup vegetable shortening
• 1 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 3 cups raisin bran cereal
• 3/4 cup raisins
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Recipe

• 1 cream shortening and sugars, add eggs, honey and vanilla.mix well.
• 2 combine flour, soda, salt and add to creamed mixture.
• 3 stir in cereal, fold in raisins and nuts.
• 4 drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
• 5 bake at 350* for 12-14 minutes -- .
