Ice Box Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 6 cups flour
• 3 eggs, beaten well
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Recipe

• 1 cream sugars, butter and shortening.
• 2 beat eggs and add vanilla.
• 3 add this to creamed mixture.
• 4 sift flour, salt and baking soda together; add nuts to the batter to make a stiff dough.
• 5 mix together well and shope into rolls.
• 6 roll in waxed paper and place in cool place or refrigerator.
• 7 next day, slice and bake in 350 oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until done.
