Pumpkin Granola

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 4 cups oats (old fashioned)
  • 2 cups puffed rice cereal
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 3/4 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup craisins

Recipe

  • 1 mix oats and rice cereal
  • 2 combine salt, sugar, pp spice, applesauce, maple syrup and vanilla- whisk well to combine everything until smooth.
  • 3 add wet to dry and stir to coat.
  • 4 bake on a parchment lined baking sheet at 325 for 30 minutes.
  • 5 flip granola over and add nuts.
  • 6 if it's not all the way dried, stir again (or remove edges) and cook 15 more minutes.
  • 7 cool, break up, add fruit.
