Ingredients

- 1 lb raw walnut halves
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon, divided
- 1 teaspoon sugar, divided
- 1 tablespoon splenda granular
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 place walnuts in crockpot.
- 2 in small bowl, mix together the butter, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp sugar, splenda, and vanilla.
- 3 mix well and pour over walnuts, toss well to coat.
- 4 cover and cook on low for 2 1/2 hours when done cooking, sprinkle the remaining sugar and cinnamon over the nuts and toss well.
- 5 **cook's tip - don't worry about the small amount of real sugar in this recipe; it makes the cinnamon coat the nuts so much better than without it. the carbs are still low, so relax!
