Holiday Eggnog Bread
Ingredients
- Servings: 20
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups eggnog
- 3/4 cup candied fruit or 3/4 cup cherries, chopped
Recipe
- 1 sift dry ingredients together including sugar.
- 2 combine eggnog, melted butter and egg.
- 3 stir into dry ingredients just to blend.
- 4 blend in nuts and fruits.
- 5 place mixture into a greased and floured 9 inch loaf pan.
- 6 bake in a preheated 350f oven about 60 to 70 minutes or tested done. remove from pan and cool completely before slicing.
