Matt's Chocolate Caramel Brownies

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 30 caramels (melt together caramels and milk in a double boiler)
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 (18 ounce) package german chocolate cake mix
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 mix cake mix with butter and milk.
  • 3 place in fridge for 30-60 minutes.
  • 4 press 1/2 of the mixture in a greased 13x9 glass pan, by pressing small pieces of batter in pan.
  • 5 place remaining batter in fridge.
  • 6 bake bottom layer of 6 mins @ 350 degrees.
  • 7 let cool for 30 minutes.
  • 8 pour caramel sauce over cake and sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
  • 9 place remaining batter on top with small pieces.
  • 10 bake 15-18 minutes.
  • 11 cool and serve.
