Pineapple Cream Cake

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/3 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 mix all cake ingredients by hand in a large mixing bowl.
  • 3 pour batter into a greased 9x13 pan.
  • 4 bake at 350f for 35-45 minutes.
  • 5 while cake is baking, prepare frosting by mixing together all ingredients until smooth and fluffy.
  • 6 when cake is cooled, top with prepared frosting.
