- 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate morsel
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans or 1 cup walnuts
- 2/3 cup semisweet chocolate morsel
- 1/4 cup dark corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons whipping cream
Recipe
- 1 making the cake:.
- 2 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 3 grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- 4 in a saucepan, combine corn syrup and butter; bring to a boil.
- 5 stir in chocolate morsels.

- 7 in a medium bowl, combine sugar, eggs, and vanilla, stir into chocolate mixture.
