Homemade Granola

Ingredients
- 3 cups oats
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup walnuts or 1/2 cup pecans
- 1 cup dried fruit, your choice (cranberry,apricots,raisins...)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350f (175c).
- 2 in a small saucepan melt butter,sugar, honey and syrup over medium heat.
- 3 in a medium bowl mix oats and nuts.
- 4 pour warm butter-sugar mixture over the oat mixture and stir well.
- 5 place on a large tray and bake for 10 - 15 minutes. it should be lightly golden brown.
- 6 let it cool.
- 7 add dry fruits.
- 8 store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
