Healthy Flourless Butterscotch Brownies

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup margarine, melted (or butter)
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 10 tablespoons dry skim milk powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
- 2 in a bowl, combine melted margarine, molasses, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
- 3 stir well.
- 4 in a separate bowl, combine milk powder, baking powder and salt.
- 5 stir into first mixture.
- 6 add wheat germ and walnuts.
- 7 stir just enough to blend.
- 8 spread in lightly greased 8 x 8 inch baking pan.
- 9 bake 30 minutes.
