Healthy Flourless Butterscotch Brownies

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 1/4 cup margarine, melted (or butter)
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 10 tablespoons dry skim milk powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
  • 2 in a bowl, combine melted margarine, molasses, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
  • 3 stir well.
  • 4 in a separate bowl, combine milk powder, baking powder and salt.
  • 5 stir into first mixture.
  • 6 add wheat germ and walnuts.
  • 7 stir just enough to blend.
  • 8 spread in lightly greased 8 x 8 inch baking pan.
  • 9 bake 30 minutes.
