Milk Chocolate Fudge

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 line 9 inch square or 13x9 inch pan with foil so that foil extends over sides of pan; butter foil.
  • 2 in large saucepan, combine sugar, margarine and evaporated milk. bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  • 3 boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • 4 remove from heat.
  • 5 add marshmallow creme and chocolate chips; blend until smooth.
  • 6 stir in walnuts and vanilla.
  • 7 pour into buttered, foil-lined pan.
  • 8 cool to room temperature. score fudge into 36 squares.
  • 9 refrigerate until firm.
  • 10 remove fudge from pan by lifting foil; remove foil from sides of fudge.
  • 11 using large knife, cut through scored lines.
  • 12 store in refrigerator.
