Passover Chocolate Matzah Candy

Ingredients
- Servings: 30
- 6 sheets matzoh crackers
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate bits
- 1/2 lb butter
- 1 cup sugar (your choice) or 1 cup brown sugar (your choice)
- 1 cup walnuts (approximately)
Recipe
- 1 grease both sides of aluminum foil and set in the bottom of a cookie sheet.
- 2 arrange the matzah on top of the foil breaking them, if necessary, to fit the pan completely.
- 3 melt the butter and add the sugar and cook for 3 minutes.
- 4 pour mixture over the matzah and spread evenly to cover them all.
- 5 put into a 350 degree oven for 5 minutes.
- 6 remove from oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top.
- 7 it will take approximately 3-5 minutes for the chocolate to melt.
- 8 when melted spread over the top of the matzah.
- 9 if desired, sprinkle with chopped nuts.
- 10 refrigerate till firm.
- 11 break into pieces.
