Date Nut Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 package dates
  • 1 cup water, hot
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1 1/2 cups cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 package dates
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
