cranberry kitchen cookies

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 1/2 cups fresh cranberries, roughly chopped

    Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 10 mins Ready Time: 45 mins

  • preheat the oven to 375 degrees f (190 degrees c). grease cookie sheets.
  • in a large bowl, cream together butter, white sugar and brown sugar. beat in the milk, orange juice and egg. combine the flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. stir in chopped walnuts and cranberries. drop by teaspoonfuls the prepared cookie sheets.
  • bake for 10 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are golden. let cookies cool on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely
