- 1 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Recipe
- cream together butter or margarine, brown sugar, and sugar. beat in eggs and vanilla. mix in flour, salt and baking soda.
- roll dough into 2 inch diameter logs. wrap in waxed paper and freeze.
- slice and bake anytime at 325 degrees f (165 degrees c) until light brown.
