Peanut Butter Fudge

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb confectioners' sugar (about 4 cups)
  • 1/2 cup instant nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup karo light corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Recipe

  • 1 sift the confectioner's sugar and milk together and set aside.
  • 2 (if you don't, the fudge will be lumpy.) melt butter and peanut butter over low heat in saucepan.
  • 3 stir in corn syrup, water and vanilla.
  • 4 blend in the sifted ingredients in two additions, stirring until well blended.
  • 5 remove from heat and stir in the walnuts.
  • 6 turn into a buttered 8" square pan.
  • 7 cool and cut in squares.
  • 8 **youcan use either creamy or chunky peanut butter.
  • 9 the walnuts are also optional.
  • 10 you can also add chopped peanuts instead of the walnuts if you want.
