Crunch Bars

Ingredients
- 35 premium soda crackers, salted tops (or you may want to use unsalted)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 (225 g) package semisweet chocolate (8 squares)
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400°f.
- 2 place crackers in a single layer on a 15x10" cookie sheet.
- 3 heat butter and sugar over medium high heat until the butter has melted and the mixture is well blended.
- 4 bring to a boil: boil 3 minutes without stirring.
- 5 spread over the crackers.
- 6 bake 7 minutes, remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with the chopped chocolate.
- 7 let stand 5 minutes.
- 8 spread the now melted chocolate over top,.
- 9 sprinkle with the walnuts, cool.
- 10 cut or break into pieces, enjoy.
