Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 cup salad oil
- 2 cups canned pumpkin
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup golden raisin
Recipe
- 1 mix first 6 ingredients in a large bowl.
- 2 in a second bowl, combine eggs, water, salad oil and pumpkin.
- 3 add the pumpkin mixture to the dry ingredients in the first bowl and mix just until well blended.
- 4 fold in nuts, and raisins.
- 5 mound batter into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
- 6 bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour (or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted into center of loaf).
- 7 cool on a wire rack.
