Maple-nut Butter Cake Frosting/icing

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 3 cups icing sugar
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup walnuts or 1/4 cup pecans, finely chopped

Recipe

  • 1 blend butter and sugar.
  • 2 stir in maple syrup and beat until frosting is smooth and fold in nuts.
  • 3 note: this recipe fills and frosts 2 8 or 9in cakes or 1 9x13in cake.
