Nutty Cake

Ingredients

• 3 cups plain flour
• 1 cup butter
• 1/2 cup margarine
• 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 5 eggs
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 3/4 cup chopped pecans
• 3/4 cup chopped walnuts

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 325f and grease a tube pan.
• 2 cream butter, margarine, and (both) sugar until light and fluffy.
• 3 add egss one at a time, beating well after each addition.
• 4 sift flour and baking powder into the batter alternately with the milk and vanilla extract.
• 5 fold in the chopped nuts.
• 6 bake for 1 1/2 hours.
