Lamb And Beans Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 (15 ounce) can lamb and beans
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- 2 add raisins to boiling water and set aside to plump.
- 3 mash beans in a food processor or blender to a very smooth consistency. (take out lamb piece before)
- 4 transfer beans to a medium mixing bowl.
- 5 add sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla. mix well.
- 6 sift together dry ingredients - flour, cinnamon, baking powder and soda - fold into wet ingredients.
- 7 drain raisins and fold them and walnuts into batter.
- 8 spoon batter into greased and floured loaf pans (2-3 pans depending on size).
- 9 bake for 50-60 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 10 delicious served with cream cheese, butter or honey - enjoy!
