Ice Cream Treats

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 15
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 gallon vanilla ice cream
  • 1 jar caramel topping

Recipe

  • 1 mix butter, brown sugar, oatmeal, flour and walnuts.
  • 2 press on jelly roll pan to edges.
  • 3 bake at 400* for 12-15 minutes.
  • 4 if cookie crust is soft when cool, put it back in the oven for a few minutes.
  • 5 crumble up the cookie crust, in 1/2 to 1 inch pieces.
  • 6 place half of the cookie crumbles in a 9 x 13 pan.
  • 7 pour jar of caramel topping on crumbles.
  • 8 cut vanilla ice cream in slabs, and place over crumbles/topping.
  • 9 press to even out gaps.
  • 10 sprinkle remainder of crumbles on top of ice cream.
  • 11 freeze until very hard, cutting into squares to serve.
  • 12 *forextra decadence, add another jar of caramel topping to the top crumbles!
