Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 quart milk
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 loaf french bread or 1 loaf bread
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon clove
- 1/2 cup pine nuts or 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/2-1 cup sherry wine
- 3/4 cup raisins
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven 325 degrees.
- 2 cut up bread into cubes.
- 3 soak bread in milk.
- 4 add all ingredients, to bread and milk, mix well.
- 5 butter glass pan (9 x 14).
- 6 pour into pan.
- 7 bake about 1 hour- puffs up when done.
