Rhubarb Torte

Ingredients

• 1 cup flour
• 1/4 cup butter
• 5 tablespoons powdered sugar
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/4 cup flour
• 3/4 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
• 2 cups chopped rhubarb

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350.
• 2 mix flour, butter and powdered sugar thoroughly and pat into 9x9in greased baking pan. bake for 15 minutes.
• 3 mix all remaining ingredients except nuts and rhubarb.
• 4 fold in nuts and rhubarb.
• 5 pour over baked crust and bake 40-45 minutes more.
