Caper And Pine Nut Vinaigrette

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 1/2 cup wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons drained capers
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a medium skillet over low heat, heat oil. add onions and garlic, stirring until soft and translucent, 5-6 minutes.
  • 2 add walnuts and pine nuts and cook for 2 minutes.
  • 3 add vinegar, capers, salt and pepper and cook for 1 minute to blend flavors.
