No Meat-balls

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon flax seed meal
  • 1/4-1/2 cup quinoa, flakes
  • 1 cup walnuts, finely ground
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons vegan worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
  • 2 oil a baking sheet.
  • 3 in a blender, blend onions, water and flax meal until frothy.
  • 4 in a large bowl, mix all remaining ingredients.
  • 5 add onion mixture to other ingredients in bowl and mix well to blend, adding more quinoa flakes if mixture is too wet.
  • 6 shape into balls 1-inch in diameter and place on oiled baking sheet.
  • 7 bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, turning once.
