Hot Fudge Cake (crock Pot)

Ingredients

• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup flour
• 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 tablespoons melted butter
• 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• 1 ounce baking chocolate square, cut into fourths
• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
• 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped (optional)
• 1 3/4 cups boiling water
• vanilla ice cream

Recipe

• 1 in a large mixing bowl, mix together 1 cup brown sugar, flour, 3 tablespoons cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
• 2 stir in the milk, melted butter and vanilla.
• 3 place the baking chocolate square pieces on bottom of crock pot.
• 4 spread the brown sugar/cocoa mixture over the bottom of the crock pot.
• 5 in another bowl, mix together 3/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa powder. sprinkle over the mixture in the crock pot. add nuts if using.
• 6 pour in the boiling water. do not stir mixture.
• 7 cover crock pot and cook on high 2-3 hours or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
• 8 serve hot fudge cake warm with vanilla ice cream.
