Quick And Easy Nutty Cheese Bars

Ingredients

• 1 (18 ounce) box duncan hines butter recipe cake mix
• 3/4 cup melted butter
• 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans or 1 1/2 cups walnuts, divided into 3/4 c. & 3/4 c
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 (8 ounce) softened cream cheese

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• 2 grease and flour 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
• 3 stir together and mix well dry cake mix, 3/4 cup melted butter and 3/4 cup pecans. press mixture evenly into prepared pan.
• 4 stir together until well mixed 1 cup brown sugar and 2 packages of cream cheese. spread this over cake mixture.
• 5 sprinkle with remaining 3/4 cup pecans.
• 6 bake 25 to 30 minutes or until edges are brown.
• 7 cool completely. cut and store in refrigerator in air tight container.
