Passover Nut Cake

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 10 eggs, separated
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar, scant
- 1 cup walnuts, finely ground or 1 cup almonds
- 3 tablespoons cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- 2 beat the egg whites with the salt.
- 3 beat the egg yolks and the salt and add the sugar 1 tablespoon at a time.
- 4 blend nuts and cinnamon. add nut mixture to yolks in thirds (turn beater to low). add whites.
- 5 bake in springform pan without grease. bake 1 hour. use a knife to get it off sides of pan after its cooled. let cool before removing from pan. invert immediately.
