Gorgonzola-pear Appetizer Toasts

Ingredients

- 4 -6 ounces gorgonzola
- 1 pear, thinly sliced
- 4 -6 teaspoons honey
- 8 teaspoons walnuts, chopped
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 1 baguette, sliced diagonally in 1/3-inch thick slices
- 4 -8 teaspoons olive oil, for basting
- salt, to taste
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
- 2 make toasts: brush each slice of baguette with olive oil and season with salt. toast in oven until golden and crisp.
- 3 spread gorgonzola cheese on toasts and top with 2 thin slices of pear. drizzle honey over, then sprinkle walnuts. season with salt and pepper to taste.
