Maple-glazed Turkey Breast

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 package original-flavor long grain and wild rice blend
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 lb boneless turkey breast
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 mix uncooked rice, seasoning packet from rice mix and water in a crockpot.
  • 2 place turkey breastm skin side up, on the rice.
  • 3 drizzle with syrup.
  • 4 sprinkle with walnuts and cinnamon.
  • 5 cover and cook on low setting for 4 to 5 hours or until turkey is no longer pink in the center.
